Yup, sorry for any confusion, you need to enable the Intrepid repository
in order to get teh 2.6.27 kernel. If you are unfamiliar with how to do

2.6.24-19-generic kernel, and locales_2.7.9-4_all :

I would think it would be better to comment out the line that sets
setuptools.dist.check_test_suite = override_check_test_suite than to
replace the body of the override_check_test_suite function. That would
leave the original check_test_suite intact.

It crashes when the third window is openned. Usually a pop-up, or a link asking
for a new window.
No relation do site, or to java or to any specific condition.
I use Opera when I need to visit a place that asks for more windows openned.
I don't think the plugins make any difference, as I said,

Yes, exactly the same bug exists with kernel 2.6.26-5. Unfortunately,
the failed resume seems to leave no trace in any logs - the log goes
straight from the hibernate to my next successful restart.
