Ah! I had the exact same problem. If you boot your system without quiet
and splash you can see that it's trying to change the permissions but
says unknown group vboxusers. I cannot understand why though.
If you instead of changing that file (or in addition to) add a rules
file called 10-local.rule

I agree. Canon Pixma ip1700 is not supported by default, despite the
fact that a workaround exists using the ip2200 2.60 driver, which is
available in .rpm format.

torrents, I get two "add torrent" dialogs, but Transmission won't know
about either torrent until I press `add' in one of the dialogs.

Do you know if there has been any efforts to get these patches merged
upstream? The reason I ask is that is it a lot of extra work for the
kernel team to maintain of out tree patches. As such they typically

adjust any IRQ settings for that matter (it is flashed with the latest
BIOS available from Dell for this laptop).

I start Package Manager, after a while it tell me here a updates, then
come a crash information. At the same time opened a window for a
incomplete language installation. I click on the button to repair this,
but nothing happens. At the same time I write this comment, i become a

I think I'm experiencing the same problem. I'm just adding my info
here. My new webcam is a Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks, which is
supposed to be supported by linux with OS drivers.
Works in Ekiga, but on camorama I get:
"Could not connect to video device (/dev/video0).

While this is not a proper solution, this hack seems to work.
I had to modify 2 files:
/usr/share/X11/xkb/keycodes/evdev:
The line that reads: = 211
should be changed to: = 97
The line that reads:= 97; // Romaji
should be commented out: //= 97; // Romaji
and
/usr/share/X11/xkb/symb
I was Just about to get the daily build but since alpha5 should be
available soon I will wait for that.
