anymore for me because network-manager dropped all workarounds for
connecting with hidden aps.

.27-rc kernel then the problem should be fixed. The blank screen bug is
only the result of a broken implementation of HR-Tick that is only in

I have the same problem when I try to step the value of a volume by a
specified amount on the command line such as 'aumix -v+10'. However, it
does not crash when I just set the value to a certain level, such as
'aumix -v10'. I am running the latest intrepid with the
2.6.27-1-generic amd64 kernel.

Fresh install of kubuntu Intrepid alpha 5, then full update. Attempt
detection of wlan hardware with Hardware Drivers Manager, which finds
and activates "wl", and also proposes fwcutter usage to get "Broadcom
B43 wireless driver". This downloads the firmware without complaint,

backports and in intrepid.

I installed the 2.6.27.2-generic kernel on Linux Mint 5 I my results are
similar to Daniel's. This is with OR without the USB hub and devices
plugged in. On resume, the screen is blank and it looks like the machine
locked up. But in fact, the OS is active. I had to fly blind, but I did a
ctl-F2

as the title i have that kind of problems... i'm testing it on this kernel
version: linux-image-2.6.27-* .
the speed is ok, but problems of disconnection far away from access point and
if i disconnect and try to reconnect it doesn't allow that.
