On topic but different distro.. This happens on CentOS 5.2 and FC9
x86_64 with all updates. I guess when I get home and try on my Ubuntu

I got a query to select using the existing samba config file.
I selected Diff, thinking I could go back (to use the original) but I then
cancelled and the configuration errors continued.
The LC_ALL errors pervaded the whole upgrade configuration changes.

Negative. I also had that issue and the solution I commented on in that
thread solved some problems for me.
Issues 1 & 2 persisted after that solution was applied, but I'm now

I have this bug on both pc and notebook. Same Ubuntu version, same usb flash
drive, formatted FAT32. The pop message appears once in a while.
So, unmount by dx mouse on disk icon, unplug, and see if the message always

The reason sybase_affected_rows didn't get aliased is because this was
renamed in the mssql extension to mssql_rows_affected, so the
s/mssql/sybase/ aliases didn't catch that.

Okay, based on the feedback it sounds like really this is more of a
performance concern. In normal operations on a system with decent
performance, the tearing is present but hardly noticeable, however on
systems with worse performance (or under a large amount of load) the
tearing can certainly be
Mr. Packard responded that changing the order of the files breaks the parsing
so it will not work, but didn't elaborate why or how.
In any case the order of the files matters but not in the way I was
thinking--higher numbers do not necessarily "supercede" lower numbers the way
the parsing works.
I recommend that this bug be marked as a duplicate of bug 68308 as it's
just a mess of symptoms of the larger partitioning/RAID/LVM/dm-crypt
design problem.
