I am having the same issue, I will try now the workaround with the older
kernel, Is there a work on the way to integrate the module into the

How do you mean it is technically correct? Other tools would generally
accept "1.5 GB", "1.5 G" or "1.5g" as valid input for file size,
depending on syntax. Qemu-img, for example (being of similar function
to this part of the VirtualBox control console), would accept 1.5G or
1.50G interchangeably
I am running Hardy on an Inspiron 6400 and I am facing the same problem.
Earlier with Gutsy the power manager used to show me around 3 hours of
battery backup now it has dropped to 1 hour 40 minutes.

Another example would be the partition editor in the Ubuntu alternate
CD. When prompted for new partition size, "1.5 GB" would be valid
input, as well as the default if that is how much space is free.
