I can confirm this in hardy, on a dual screen setup using nvidia drivers
- it's extremely aggravating - i've been using ctrl+alt+backspace to
stop the screen flicker.

I don't know if it is the same issue, but I have noticed recently
(within the last month or two) that my totem plays videos (isn't FLV
specific) at seconds per frame instead of frames per second. Using VLC
works perfectly fine, and it doesn't matter whether I am using compiz or
metacity.

Same here. keytouchd crashes on every login. Special keys do not work until
starting keytouchd again eighter in xterm or by clicking "Apply" in keytouch.
Sorry for not providing a properly report apport is not reporting the crash to
me...

I played a movie (Blade III, audio at 48Khz and PulseAudio server at
44.1Khz) as a resampling test and I could hear crackling (that's

Ubuntu better. KBabel isn't part of KDE 4 anymore, so it's very likely
that this issue has been fixed in it's replacements (Kaider - 4.0 /
Lokalize 4.1), therefore I am changing the Status to Fix Released. In

I've noticed that mlocate is doing a lot of disk activity as part of a
Cron job, regardless of whether I'm on mains power or on battery.
In either case, it's simply a waste of energy (climate change!) and disk
thrashing (shortening disk life) on the Desktop installation.

I updated everything I could - and still experience the bug. I can
confirm though, that canceling auto login worked for me.

This is not a firefox issue its a theme issue but i am unablet o
reproduce this using firefox2 and 3 default themee. What version of
Firefox is this on and can you please give step by step instructions on
how to reproduce this? I am going to leave firefox as invalid since

I have tested booting off a directory containing the extracted ISO content
using the daily iso 20080620.1. It is possible to boot properly and the
installation proceeds past autopartition-loop (but it stops at 94% because of
