One or two month ago, I have reported the following bug :
When you try to send (drag and drop on rhythmbox ubuntu 0.11.5) an *OGG* file
to an IPOD, the file is not converted and then (inevitably) can not be read on

I want to also comment that when you perfrom what Todd Deshane stated
above, do the following prior to those commands.
sudo apt-get build-dep xvidcap
This will keep you from having to look for stray deps, I found that there are a

My problem is that eog shows the initial image in a slightly too low
window so that it is scaled down a bit. Which is not necessary since
there is enough screen space available for the window to show up big
enough for the image to be shown unscaled

Where do you go to associate the sound to the animation? I found how to
make the sound play during the entire slide if inserted like a normal
element (right click on it and send it to back), but then that puts the
ugly white box on the slide as well.

texlive-pstricks also needs a dependency to texlive-extra-utils, because
the auto-pst-pdf latex package from texlive-pstricks needs pdfcrop from
texlive-extra-utils. It took me some time to realise that auto-pst-pdf
needs that script, because there's absolutely no error message...

rather than screen, so I have marked the Screen task as Invalid and
added Ubuntu's VTE package and the upstream bugzilla report.

You can type a single ^ on windows, simply press ^ + space.
The real problem is, that i often use ^^ in chatting and it's VERY
annoying to press ^ four times. Like dominik said, there are many
beginners out there, who don't know how to turn it off. If you turn it

Absolutly the same problem since 11th of june. I have no updated ubuntu,
but a fresh one. When compiz is disabled, the problem doesn't appear. I
added a script to my autostart, which starts nautilus, so that the
desktop, the icons and the right-click-menu appears. (Has already been
