If you need the perl.so link then you should install the libperl-dev
package. This is standard practice for shared libraries on
debian-based systems.
There could perhaps be an argument made that perlcc should
be shipped in the libperl-dev package, but I don't know if

NFS mounted, and creating the profile in a local disk seems to have

I could solve the problem, too. I found out, that the new kernel has
renamed my devices and so cryptsetup could not find the device because
it was not there. That`s especially strange 'couse occasionally i could
normally boot with that old configuration. jjwin2k fix and renaming the
devices in cryp

wireless card - it now has an atheros chipset. I can connect manually
using wpa_supplicant but nm doesn't connect or even recognize that its
connected.

I have upgraded to the KDE4.1 beta since reporting this bug, and can no
longer reproduce it. I assume it was a bug in Plasma that has been
fixed.

Kopete serves my needs perfectly except for this one very vexing issue.
Can we upgrade this to a bug? I submit that this rises above the level
of "Wishlist" as rich text being on causes "buggy" behavior for users
such as myself; Whenever I neglect to turn it off when IMing a new

The problem seems to appear in PDF format files.
the problems after I switch to another window.
when I come back to the PDF file. the search bar disappears.
I press con-F and it reappears.
that when the search function malfunctions.
sometimes the bar will search bar will stop at 4%
sometimes

Non-issue!
Duh. Turns out you can't remove the applet from the panel bar or it
leaves its configuration by design. Leave it running and it keeps the
config.
This behavior should however be better documented (!).

The Hardy 8.04 AMD 64 alternate CD cdromupgrade does not work either,
and it is the latest release downloaded yesterday and again today to
verify.
Also the Repair CD function loops to install complete operating sytem.
Upon selecting install grub boot loader it goes to partitioner.

For me, the wifi led has never worked, including every kernel being used
from Breezy through Hardy. It seems like this would be an easy thing to
fix; I hope the kernel team can work on it soon!

Thanks for your bugreport.
Can you please check if you have the latest libgksu2-0 installed? To do that,
please open a terminal window (e.g. gnome-termianl from
APplications/Accessories) and run:
$ sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install libgksu2-0
and let me know if it works after that.
