Insight FTBFS in Intrepid due to not being able to build the embedded
copy of gdb with -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 due to (at least) an unchecked
use of fgets in gdb/linux-nat.c, line 2834.
The source code of gdb suggests that it still has this prob

After switching to a different AD server, I was prompted for a new
password, and now I can see the GAL again. I suspect this might be a
password handling issue, when changing your Windows domain password.
I've seen evolution get pretty confused over that in the past.

I get this too with both sonata and guimup. In both cases icon is
actually in systray but are badly scaled into 1x1 pixel size. You can
see this with other items shifting a little in tray, or as is case with
guimup, a one colored pixel appearing in tray. So this is most likely
same scaling issue th

of the time. I can perform a tar - cvf (no gzip) command without an

Ok, it's solved for me now. The strange thing is that I had to reinstall
language-pack-es-base because my /usr/lib/firefox-addons/extensions
/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/chrome/ and /usr/lib/xulrunner-
addons/extensions/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/chrome/
folders where empty.

That appears to be the case. From myself on RC2 and Junior on RC1 it appears
that the exceptions are now being read when using System Proxy as they were not
in beta 5, but subnet syntax does not, e.g. 127.0.0.0/8. Domain bypass does not

I read somewhere that disabling the "mail notification" plugin could fix
this problem too. I tried it and it has worked well for me so far. No
more lock-ups on Hardy (whereas I had seen them on Hardy prior to
disabling the plugin). YMMV.

Andy, and other reporters here for whom -19 does not work: did the
original kernel -16 actually work with suspend/resume? If not, then this
is no surprise, as this bug is merely about the regression between -16
and -19. -19 will not magically fix resume on machines where -16 failed.

I can confirm this using Hardy on a Presario c700. I have this behavior
with kernels 2.6.24-16, -17, -18, and -19, and with the 2.6.25-2-686
kernel from packages.debian.org. It exists in single-user mode. The
first attempt to suspend to ram after a reboot works perfectly; the
second one fails on

I realized my dmesg doesn't reflect recent changes I made to help with
testing; since it just duplicates what's in /var/log/syslog, if anyone
wants that "clean" kernel-only output, I'll cycle the machine again and
make a fresh one.
Attached is my lspci output. If you need anything else, please as
glib2.0 packages with this patch applied are available in my PPA.
