I'm having the same problem on Hardy Heron (final), I was able to solve
it using:
sudo ln -snf /etc/alternatives/wx.pth /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/
sudo ln -snf /etc/alternatives/wx.pth /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/
So that should perhaps be in the python-wxgtk install scripts...

Hmm. I still see it as a bug, but am willing to call it something else
as long as it gets solved.
I would like (and expect) that mailboxes/folders on the remote IMAP
server show up (are subscribed) automatically in Thunderbird. It's bug
in that I can create IMAP forlders using other clients and
same with me under kubuntu and a Usb-Harddisc. Folder exists and is
created by the same user how runs keep.

package which has the problem.

I _had_ this driver working until this morning when update manager
vomited a new kernel onto me and now it's totally not working. A distro
switch is looking awfully tempting right now. I don't see what the huge
problem with this is. The manufacturer has the module source on the
website.

I have a filters set up to move mails from my Exchange account to the
local mailbox.
When a mail arrives the filter works, the mail gets copied into the
correct location. If that message is the last message in that folder it
won't fully delete.
Try using google mail (for instance).
Compose a message in a new window...
maximize this window and zoom in so that the font is nice and large while you
are composing the message.
Now send the message.
Notice that the original gmail page now has fonts that are WAY too big!

Looks like there's something wrong in config file. Check file
~/.config/sonata/sonatarc and find a line "current_tab_pos" within. It
probably contains some odd value. Change it to 0 and it should work.
