Exactly the same problem here. Fresh 8.04 Ubuntu install - fully updated
as of today, 02 June. The only actions taken were:
1. Full update via Synaptic
2. Set static IP via Network Manager
3. Add machine to Active Directory domain using Likewise Open

In Ubuntu 7.08 I was able to set alt + alt-r (right alt, or graphic alt)
as the window switcher, that is, instead of alt-tab. That was very
ergonomic. When I upgraded, this key combination would only take me to
the next window, but nothing else. And it is impossible to set the

Hi Thomas,
I don't think is related to e-mails at all. I believe is not the e-mail itself,
but the pop-up window that tells that an e-mail has arrived.
For instance, certain pop-ups (skype for instance) deleted (I don't know if
this is still true) the content of the panel that stayed below (not
# clamscan --unrar=/usr/bin/unrar Rechnung.rar
