though. My harddisks are still addressed as UDMA2 and performance is as

The behavior started after installing VMWare Server 2.0 beta. However,
yesterday I ran update manager and rebooted (required for SSH bug), and it
appears one of those updates fixed the issue. I had rebooted in the past and

I have a Biostar P35D2-A7 mainboard with Realtek RTL-8110SC/8169SC Gigabit
Ethernet controller (rev 10) with the same problem described here.
I don't know why, but I solved it enabling "Legacy Mode Support" in "Integrated
Peripherals" => "OnChip Device" BIOS settings.
Now it works fine for me...

Using hardy on x64 and screen resolution is detected fine using nv (1360
x 768) so at least is good. BUT when I install nvidia driver I can only
get 600x800 resolution, but the driver is working properly with 3d
