I have the same problem here. When I log in to the pc, everything seems
to be working fine. However, when i log in from elsewhere, using vnc,
there are many things not working. Like the "unlock" button.

warning was just removed altogether (probably due to the change to
gvfs), the now invalid shortcut in Nautilus is visible but unaccessible,

Confirmed in 8.04 release.
The fix is to symlink the two, but I guess this needs to be fixed
properly.. I found out about this trying to run OpenTTD too.
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libexpat.so.1 /usr/lib/libexpat.so.0

The laptop tries to hibernate for a couple of minutes (print a line or
two on screen -- but can't copy/memorize. it advises me to set/unset
certain kernel param) and returns back to the desktop (the unlock
screen).
