I'm experiencing a similar problem after dist-upgrade from Feisty to Hardy: I
have two built-in network interfaces: eth0 looks into internet and eth1 is used
for the home LAN (to go out to the internet via NAT). The problem is that eth1
won't start up on a 2.6.24 kernel. At the same time I have

I've found few other bugs which seem to be similar but on my laptop it's
really the question of this upgrade. As I mentioned I've both kernels
and usplash shutdown behaviour is 100% depending on kernel used. So I

What's the rationale for a direct hardy-backports upload? These should
be avoided, doing them requires explicit and convincing justification.
These should be uploaded to intrepid first, and then backported with the
standard backporting process.

root (option rootsquash in exports). You can test this by running "touch
/usr/share/wallpapers/foo" (as root) and see if that gives you a error

This usually happens when dpkg was interrupted (e.g. power failure) while it
was working. Please open a terminal window (konsole) and run:

I think I have found a workaround for this problem.
In essence I had files on a partition data, I had deleted, while in
tooltip found always the number of files that had already deleted and
therefore no longer exists, so i have watching permission of data mount
