environments, including openjdk/icedtea/sun's java.

I'm running patched up 7.10 on a dell inspiron 1720 (nvidia 8600 gtm).
I'm using the non-free nvidia drivers installed via the restricted
driver manager. Also, I am running compiz + emerald.
Running just firefox 2.0.0.13 I profiled switching between three tabs
two times and have included my result

Hmm, some interesting development.
1. I paused the torrent.
2. Removed the files I didn't want.
3. Choose "Switch torrent source" and then pressed cancel.
4. It started to recheck.
Now the first of the files showed 11,4 % and the other still 0 %. The
overall shows 0 % which is correct since their
APTonCD uses a DVD with 4.7GB as it's default calculation for DVDs

1) I ran run this under the same args and sometimes it will fail and
sometimes succeed. I am killing the window after each run, so I am not
showing hundreds of windows (and so I'm not out of memory).
In this example, you see the same ags and they fail, then work, then

First off, where do you get R from: Ubuntu or CRAN or self-built? Which
version? What does 'ldd /usr/lib/R/bin/exec/R' say?
I suspect you are simply mixing a 'newer' R build with an older r-cran-*
package expecting the older Blas / Lapack / Atlas setup.
If I were you, I'd uninstall r-cran-kerns
Well, it's fine on my Hardy desktop, but isn't on Gutsy minimal install
upgraded to Hardy.
The reason appears to be that bash-completion isn't installed there.
Once I install it, the debconf question about the changed configuration
file pops up.
"dpkg -S etc/bash_completion" showed that the conff

I had something similar happen to me. I was using a custom .gtkrc-2.0
file in my /home that I had forgotten about. When I cleared it out, the
problem went away.
