After checking it with the Epiphany game, it seems like libsdl1.2debian-esd
should be the default and not pulseaudio, as it currently works better. This is

development cycle. I guess this one was missed because it's not
installed by default any longer and is not given priority (IMHO sad

The specific possibility for breakage that comes to mind is maintainer
scripts that drop privileges from root to the users in question using
su(1). That breaks if the shell is changed to /bin/false.

This may not be a particularly meaty or precise resolution, but can you
guys not just compile psmouse into the Kernel instead of compiling it as
a module? It doesn't seem like any Kernel devs are giving this the time
of day when I would imagine a large portion of laptops are effected by
this issue
If you just delete files (without removing them from Trash), the total
file system used space remains the same.
Please confirm.

The scripts that are added to the initramfs are not deleted on a
'remove'. They are on a purge however (dpkg -P selinux).
I've attached a patch that deletes the initramfs scripts when selinux is
removed.

Ludicrous. AFAIK there is at least another person with this problem,
bug #210746, which is _also_ tagged as "incomplete" even though the
submitter did everything you asked from him/her and nobody has
answered in a week. But it's OK, I don't want to start the typical

Today's udpate is a new iproute, but the problem persists. Even with
the limit set to 1kbit, I can see with iftop much more traffic, but no
packets are dropped.
