Based on the comments in the mailing lists I supposed that the bug has been
fixed, but I was wrong. I have just checked out the entire Wine source tree
with git and compiled it on a fresh Kubuntu Hardy (in VirtualBox), installed
ImgBurn and experienced the same behaviour.

Personally I still vote agaist using WenQuanYi Zen Hei bitmap font as
the default font. Please stick with Arphic UMing. I think using
WenQuanYi Zen Hei as the default font under current circumstances will
negatively affect the user perception of the Ubuntu desktop environment
for Chinese users.

thank you very much for your precious effort! It did worked for me on a
Edubuntu 7.10, which I assume to be as an Ubuntu 7.10 server.
BUT:
1. as I tried to enter the shell in rescue mode, the chroot command was not
recognized by busybox telling me that /bin/sh was not found

Please grant this sync. As you can see Debian fixed a segfault on Debian64 and
a friend of mine has hardy64 where we tested it.
It also segfaults there. After installing the debian package it doesn't
segfault any longer.

the comment doesn't suggest that a derivative distribution need the
binary, and you should subscribe to the bug if you are interested in a
discussion, anyway this discussion is not leading anywhere so could
people stop commenting there and rather start a discussing on the list
where users can reply
did anybody try to install system-config-samba? any reason it's not
enough for people who need a such application?

After recent updates, a few of them are to Compiz-related packages, it seems
like SDL applications can't work probably with fullscreen mode in the native
resolution of 1280x1024.
What happens is that they simply switch to windowed mode. That doesn't happen
with lower resolu
