with Windows XP inside under Hardy Beta amd_64
This seems to happen for me very regularly when I do not ctrl+alt out of
the vmware client. If I simply pull my mouse out of the client window,

before the sysctl change and it is too late to change that for hardy.
(unless you know how to have some sysctl affect a not yet loaded module, for

I have frequently some problems on current Hardy's Compiz release when
running some full-screen 3D programs, like the Mupen emulator, and also

I did retest the patch and I do have the correct behavior.
I did change the setting in the file /etc/tuxpaint/tuxpaint.conf (and
$HOME/.tuxpaintrc is working too) :
savedir=$HOME/tmp/test-tuxpaint4
or
savedir=~/tmp/test-tuxpaint4

I can't give it a test with livecd at the moment, but I tried to reproduce the
crash. Unexpectedly it did crash again.
steps to reproduce:
enable "unsupported updates"
click on reload like it asks by default after changing repo. settings
install kdmtheme
now disable "unsupported updates"
remove kd
but it didn't happen on the 3rd try

I can confirm that it happens to me with Fedora Rawhide, so I guess it
is an upstream issue in Hal.
