I've seen several keyboards in my life, but never with return on it.
Always with Enter. So I suggest to keep it this way. If you're really

Same problem here (amd64). Audio device is "nVidia Corporation MCP51
High Definition Audio (rev a2)" according to lspci -v.
Once solved the problem by compiling the alsa kernel module from the
alsa source package, but this kernel module has been overwritten by the
latest kernel updates.

I'm using ubuntu hardy heron development on a ibook G3 (not a G4), and have
pm-utils0.99.2-3ubuntu8 installed.
I'm still unable to do suspend on this laptop (this allways worked, ever since
2.4 kernels ..)
on trying to suspend with:
sudo pm-suspend, it fails, leaving in dmesg the mess
SATA vs. IDE is unlikely to be a real bug, by the way. IDE controllers
are being migrated over to the new libata-based PATA drivers, which show
up as /dev/sd*.

Glipper has been rewritten in Python (instead of C) and so the bug-fix
of Wayne Davison will now probably be impossible to merge.
I've already upgraded to hardy to do some testing and I can tell that
Glipper 1.0 does not support copy-pasting of binary data (like i
reproducable oops that stops gnome starting surely is a high
importance.

I removed monitors.xml from the .gnome2 folder and re-started X, then
the resolution turns wrong but evince works OK. When I re-apply my
configuration screen with the gnome resolution tool the problem happens

I can confirm this. Every time I reboot a new direcory is created on
/media. I think this is a very bad regression. Please fix this before
release hardy

This bug can be confirmed, since two other reports report the same
problem. One of them has lshal -m attached, but that shows the same as
the one attached here, just more often.

Janek, my 'manual fix' is to as root delete the problematic mount point.
Then as a normal user, in nautilus, rightclick and unmount, then mount.
For me this gets my rhythmox library in the right place. Of course I
have to do this every time I restart so a fix would be very welcome.
