I have the same problem here. Whenever I try to play a file in totem
(any file) it just crashes and takes my system with it. The only two
diferences are: I've never had any playback - even for half a second -

The new package collides with python-enthought-traits. Specifically I got
a collision with:
/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/enthought/traits/ctraits.so
But I imagine there are others.

If it will show that the API is working as specified, but the design of the
API is not right, should I still file a bug report then, and you communicate
with the right instance that can redesign it in case or should I do
in some other way?

2. Browse to flash file (video etc).
3. Flash loads and plays just fine.
4. Reload that page or browse to any other page and all flash does not load.
The default widget grey color is all that displays instead.

It seems like my woes were from speech dispatcher blocking the sound
device before pulseaudio could get to it. See bug 213755.
By starting pulseaudio system wide it seems that you temporarily
circumvented this by starting pulseaudio before speech dispatcher.

Dell xps 410n worked fine with feisty and gutsy. Now it won't reboot (progress
bar goes completely black, keyboard freezes, won't restart without holding
power button).
