When I try to login into gnome, I get an empty brown background, but if
I wait long enough (around 2 minutes), the desktop loads, along with an
error about gnome-settings-daemon. Because of that, my skins / icons are
not configured as they should. After some more time, tho, gnome-
settings-
I have a similare issue, someting it say, it is waiting for my wlan
device and hang on a black screen before re-show gdm.

I have a thinkpad r50e. It has the i855Gm graphic card, and I use the "intel"
driver.

When I want to suspend to ram, it works fast and well, but then, while

GPM in Hardy seems to have a mem
I just upgraded gutsy to hardy (beta) on a test server which includes
openoffice.org-writer/hardy 1:2.4.0-3ubuntu1.
I'm using soffice -headless -accept="socket,port=8101;urp" + pyuno to open an
odt file and export it to pdf.
Only the 'ü' is broken. ß works fine as well as Ü and ü in bold or ita
