yes it is still an issue, but I can live with it. I use the workaround
with disabling XMING's unicode clipboard, and that's good enough for me.
Up to now I made no updates for XMING or the Ubuntu system. Even if it
is the desktop version I use this system as comfortable file- and
subversion- s

I can confirm this bug.
I have an Intuos3 Tablet instead of mouse due to RSI, and it is no longer
functioning after the upgrade.
Originally since Hardy, I had to manually add the entries to xorg.conf, and now
since the update did not change the xorg.conf I tried to comment out wacom

I run xgl too and I've got exactly the same bug since my Gutsy −> Hardy
Beta upgrade (today the 03∕30). When i try to launch
gnome−settings−daemon, i get this error message:

Not sure if this is related, but I also have X-Server crash when activating a
layout.
I use Kubuntu Hardy Beta (i386) on a Dell computer.
When I go to System-Settings -> Regional & Language -> Keyboard Layout and add
a language, and then click Apply.
Xorg will crash and bring me back to the login
