I also had boot failures especiall on the server running slapd, when
nsswitch.conf uses nss_ldap:

system processes, or the network is down at boot-up. I added:

I've just followed Jonathan Fritz's path. Having freshly installed 7.10
I did System -> Preferences -> Main Menu to see what could be changed.
Finding Applications -> Other -> Gnome Font Viewer I thought it sounded
useful and ticked it. Selecting the newly appeared menu item show a

I have this problem in Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Beta. Tapping the screen causes
the mouse to click, but the cursor does not move. The TouchKit app does
not show any tab besides "About" either. The computer is a hp tablet

about sound issues in Hardy and not drag their feet only
asking for more information. For example, it was well
documented that certain updates of Hardy Alpha did not
recognize sound cards and then this was fixed in the

Wine itself needs to be changed in order for this to work. Gecko gets installed
in the users .wine directory, so there has to be a check for the local copy of
Gecko (from wine-gecko) first. Only if that fails, wine should try to download
it.

I have UFW enabled with the default policy set to ALLOW.
When using Deluge, a BitTorrent client, UFW spams the logs with the lines
similar to the following:

As of today, on a fully up-to-date Hardy install, this bug still
persists (both the latex not functioning, and the 3d box crashing
inkscape after rendering one of the many objects from the
Effects->Render menu).
Is there a way I can help "complete" the bug report, or at least help
confirm the bug?

When I switched my wireless interface (wlan0) from roaming to static
using network-admin, after reboot the network interface was down.

Remove all "edit"s in 44-wqy-zenhei.conf to enable embedded bitmap.
These others options should be managed by something like gnome-
appearance-properties rather than the configuration file.

There isnt a error, it just simply doesnt load if fast user switch
The version is 0.3.1, it didnt work in version 0.2.1
My guess of what is causing it, is that if you fast user switch it
doesn't create a new 3d session, or clear out the exist one
