Same problem, Gutsy beta amd64, I have a Canon G9, tried f-spot and
gtkam and I couldn't detect the camera, although it shows up in lsusb.

With a fresh installation of Ubuntu Hardy Beta 64bit the above mentioned

the translations are updated on rosetta and shipped in language packs,
you might want to get it fixed on rosetta for the next translations
update but there is no hurry if the string is correct upstream it'll be
uploaded before hardy anyway

I can confirm this bug on a Thinkpad T61 8889-2BG with Nvidia NVS 140
running Hardy Beta 64bit. The screen dims most of the time correctly
when idle. However, brightness is not restored after movements of the
