ups since. And, I did have them in Gutsy.

The "old" module+btsco solution hangs the applications that try to use
them, the bluez audio service doesn't work and the bluetooth-alsa's

I could not get ndiswrapper nor bcm43xx to work and had a hell of a time
getting b43 back working normally. The ndis/bcm43xx drivers loaded
properly and ndis said it found hardware but I just did not get a
network interface.
I attached the syslog with b43, maybe there is something useful in
there.
It isn't very big and the data isn't confidential.

The 'java' alternative doesn't specify plugin. It is for java binary.
For plugin you need to check xulrunner-1.9-javaplugin.so. If it is not
present, I suggest you do 'sudo update-java-alternatives --auto',
restart firefox and try again.

Same here. I did the upgrade to hardy and also cannot boot with
kernel-2.6.24.12-generic.
2.6.24.12-386 and 2.6.22.14 boot without problem.
I haven't really started to investigate this fully as i have limited
time at the moment.

OpenOffice suite to be installed but it will solve some problems if it
can, like the java missing issues, etc.
