Since Ubuntu is not designed to run from a USB stick, marking as

be lower priority as Ubuntu is designed for normal desktop installs.

I tried to get iwl3945 working on hardy with kernel 2.6.22-14.
I still get the somewhat strange eth1 and wlan0_rename interfaces.
Everything is OK:

Looks like as if you guys are pinning it down already. The card is an
AGP card and a copy of syslog is attached. There is an interesting

I have a Intel Wireless 4965 AGN chip. If I have installed a fresh copy
of Ubuntu, the first time I've start Ubuntu it works fine using the
Gnome Network-Manager and 4965 chip. But if I restart my computer, he

Yes, the module is installed. For hardy it is indeed installed via l-r-m
while it was a manual install for gutsy.

do I understand it correctly, it is possible to use the iwl driver on my
2.6.22 Kernel? And I should try to get that working (blacklisting
ipw3945 and modprobing iwl3945) or should I try to rebuild
linux-ubuntu-modules with 1.1.17 by downloading the correct driver
version from the intern
