Confirmed using GNOME on an HP Pavilion zv6100us with Ubuntu 7.10 amd64.
I am not sure if it's the same bug or just a similar problem. I don't
think it happened before my upgrade to Gutsy. My wireless network
connection usually goes down at the same time.

user or closing nautilus on the secondary screen.
Fixing /etc/gdm/PostSession/Default solved the first problem, and this update
seems to have fixed the other. I never had the problem with large

That's a nice list, Ericajoy. It's genreless and contains some
duplicates and some non-standard characters but it's nice to have a list
of radio stations in rhythmbox, which I'm actually using now.
The initial rhythmbox iradio playlist is stored here:
/usr/lib/rhythmbox/plugins/iradio/iradio-init
I am not sure why the backlight signaling is relevant here. What I see
is a problem, is that the sleep function starts a screensaver before
sending the computer off to sleep. I understand that it does this as a
way to have the screen locked at resume, but in that case it should
start a "throttled"

This inexplicably fixed itself this morning. Several reboots had not
cleared it before, but now it's gone.
Steps I took that don't seem to explain the resolution:
1) With laptop off, plug in _wired_ connection and utility power.
2) Boot laptop, log in. Wired connection works.
3) Unplug wired

I am assuming that you have checked manual partition and
now you are looking at the window with a list of the
partitions. When you highlight a partition, you see a
menu on the bottom of the window and one of the
buttons is for editing the partition, setting mount points,

I am working on cleaning up some outstanding bugs. I noticed there were
some comments that needed some response to Have you filled out these
responses? Are you still having problems with the dialog incorrectly

Triaged to Incomplete. Sometimes new drives need break-in work work
properly. When they are cold, they act differently than when they are
hot. Did this drive pass manual partitioning with cfdisk booting from a
rescue shell? If so, then mkfs and badblocks or fsck -cc /dev/sda to
scan the surface
Please try one of the later builds. I also had a problem with an
earlier build, but now cannot remember which one. You
used 2.6.24-5 and I did not have a problem with 24-7 or
the most recent 24-8.
