Have you tried deleting your .openoffice.org2 configuration directory?
Just change the name and then launch Open Office and see if that fixes it.
Try something like:

then launch Open Office and see if the problem goes away.

I have a similar problem, with a Satellite U305, intel 915 driver.
I can switch to external CRT with Fn-F5, but after that I cannot switched back
(the CRT goes off but the LCD never come back on). No crash, no nothing, simply
black screen.

The same happens to me. Using a HP Compaq v3417la, Ubuntu 8.04 alpha 5
and a Broadcom 4311 rev 2 network card. At least now I can boot properly
the OS, until this OS version I was unable to do it without changing the
boot parameters and doing by this more harm to my laptop. I wan to move
to Ubuntu

This time it is really only addition of support for new models plus
small bug fixes.
I have simply added the new driver files and PPDs for the newly
supported printer models.
I was able to get a working version going again by installing evolution,

Thanks for your report, but I don't think this is a bug. The values that
zenity returns are exit values; it isn't text printed to the screen.
You can catch exit values in the terminal by executing "echo $?" just
after zenity; for example: «zenity --question --title "Alert" --text
"Microsoft Window
The 2.6.24-8 generic kernel doesn't fix it.
But, I installed the plain(isn't labeled as generic) version by mistake and ran
that for several days without a problem until I noticed both CPUs weren't
working.
I then installed the generic version of the kernel and the freeze immediately

Good morning,
I am working on my 5 bugs a day and came across this bug I am wondering if
you are still having problems with the Aquamarine KDE decorator crashing in
Compiz Beryl? Can you please update this bug with status information so we can
move forward with this bug?

It used also to crash (don't remember if a .crash was created, though)
but the processor was additionnaly under a high activity, and unable to
close.
Nautilus process was needed to be killed, to unload the processor.

Think I have found the fix. First I made the mistake of manually
installing Lightning.oxt. I uninstalled the extension and used Synaptic
Package manager to reinstall the package from the Ubuntu repository.

Today, I upgraded (must be an upgrade to Alpha5).
The problem is still there: I put the CD in the drive, Totem appears and
can't open cdda:. When I rightclick on the item "cdda:" in the Totem
playlist and choose "Copy location" and paste that in an editor, I get:

I think I am understanding why this is happening with me. On
ubuntuforums, I found that Pidgin uses ~/.gaim/ as the directory to
store all the configuration files. But I do not have this directory. I
just created the directory in the hope that pidgin will automatically
create rest of the files but
I received a similar error trying to start a VM with kernel
acceleration. After a bit of investigation I discovered that it was
because /dev/kvm has root.kvm ownership and my user (neil) wasn't in the
kvm group. 'sudo adduser neil kvm' and log out/in fixed the problem for
me. Not sure if this is
