I can confirm this bug in current Hardy. Mouse Keys were activated
automatically (I don't know exactly why) and I found this bug report
while trying to find the cause. Turning off Mouse keys and using the
number pad no longer crashes Xgl.

I have a similar issue with my Hardy system (alpha 4) and Nautilus
1:2.21.91-0ubuntu1.
While it works fine started as "sudo", as a regular user it restarts when
opening other folders than "home" on the file system; other partitions can be

I can confirm this on a Dell XPS M1330. Closing the lid the first two
times successfully suspends to RAM and resumes. After the first two
times, it doesn't suspend, and the DCOP errors appear. Restarting
guidance or kpowersave seems to fix it, but only for one or two
suspend/resume cycles.

Just booted the Hardy alpha 4 live CD (Kubuntu amd_64), and the LiveCD session
booted up normally, without dimming the LCD!
Since this is a working laptop now, I don't want to do a complete reinstall
with the hardy alpha. Is there a way I can install just the kernel package
from the hardy CD
