I am now using Kubuntu 7.10 & Evolution 2.12.1 and have MANY less
problems than before. You can close it, its probably been fixed by
now. The only problem I have with Evolution these days is intermitten
freezing, but I believe it more due to the Exchange connector and OWA
than anything else.

Sorry, I found the cause of the problem, I didn't replaced the "gutsy"

I booted into single user mode from the hardy CD; edited the xorg.conf

Encountered same problem when using another command that attempts to
create a .pvx file:
csound -U pvanal -n8192 -w8 source.wav analysed.pvx
Can also confirm that compiling the latest version as outlined above
(thanks slow_joe!) fixed the problem.
