Seb after today's 5/02/08 update the tar.gz file now works fine.
However the .ogg files are now unreadable. I'll try again on Kubuntu
and let you know if they have been corrupted but the player itself can
still play the files so i'm guessing they are fine.

I have seen such crashes plenty - but this was in October-November on my
old MSI-1036 notebook on AMD Turion. I have purchased another notebook -
an Acer 9410 on Intel Pentium Dual-Core - and I forgot all the major
troubles I had with Gutsy on AMD platform.

When a new media is inserted, it is mounted and its contents are displayed in a
new window.
That is how it should be, but what happens is :
- two such windows appear (identical content)
- report dialog about a crash of gnome-mount appea
The bug do not occur anymore on 8.04.
My system is fully updated as of today and It's a i386 running on a
vmware environment.
I simply re-run the test program

pdf file now embed the image correctly.
