I share my USB HP Photosmart printer using system-config-printer and it
works like a charm if the printers is turned on before booting ubuntu.
But if the printer was turned off while booting and I turn it on later,
I cannot print to it from another
I got it solved. It's enough to add:
Option "DDCMode" "on"
to xorg.conf
Now it detects the correct modes, and applies them automatically.

break was started. The application window is dimmed out by the take a

you can unset G_DEBUG to workaround the crash, gnome-session was setting
it to trigger crashes on warning which is something upstream do to get
warning bugs but ubuntu doesn't usually, gnome-session has been changed
in hardy again to stop doing that now

and found Flash installs fine.

you can unset G_DEBUG to workaround the crash, gnome-session was setting
it to trigger crashes on warning which is something upstream do to get
warning bugs but ubuntu doesn't usually, gnome-session has been changed
in hardy again to stop doing that now

I can confirm that mozplugger 1.10.1 fixes this bug on i386. However, I

For the most part, just the regular, surfing email im, ssh, ftp, games,
openoffice. It works pretty well. No huge bugs that make me made.
Occasionally vmware will cause the terminal to freeze, but aside from that,
no real problems.

This may be a library issue and not gnome-control-center but I'll leave
it up to someone with more experience with the GNOME system to figure
that out.
