I think the better suggestion would be to add an option to allow people
to delete a file without trashing it, and distinguish it as a seperate
option.. Trashing a file means something different than deleting it
anyhow. Deleting could also be distinguished with the name "remove" or
"remove totally".
That is not what I was questioning.
I just doubt there are better players.

I have figured out how to configure the network manager applet to make
it work (screenshot attached). The key was to manually select "Dynamic
WEP" ("Automatic" does not work) for key type and other settings as in
the image. When this is set once manually the applet will remember the
settings.

Thanks for responding, Brian... I use WMFs all the time and it is a pain
to not have anything in Feisty or Gutsy be able to read them. See the
sample wmf attached to use as reference. It's a simple, non-complex design.

I experienced the same problem, not mounting nfs shares at boot time on hardy
(diskless client).

It looks like all current users and groups are deleted and then a group
(not a user) is made with the name of the wanted user.
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=496213 is a bug in 2.20.x
concerning making a group not a user.

even work acceptably, leaving a badly scrambled color palette after
switching back from a VT or after any change in screen resolution. as

nevermind, I couldn't reproduce the bug - Nautilus was very strange this
session - at the end, it would refuse to open my network folders and
freeze all the time. I ended up restarting X (what strangely made the
machine reboot).
