here. One problem is caused by gnome-keyring. Killing gnome-keyring
makes the boot proceed. The latest updates seem to solve the problem
mostly for me, but I have experienced still at least one time where I
had to kill gnome-keyri

I've found a way to reproduce it.
I download a pdf in firefox with pdf download extension. The pdf opens, and
then the window captions are gone. compiz still running.
Now, I switch compiz out, and they are back. Switch compiz on, everything is
fine.
I can confirm that this is still a problem with Gutsy. The paths in the
patches are a little strange, but making the modification in /usr/bin
/mini-dinistall has a major impact (for the better) on the speed of
indexing my repositories.

2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu8.3 that (I think) undoes a recent xserver patch.

I've found an alternative solution to this problem. It seems the crux
of the problem lay in the fact that ubuntu needed to connect to my
wireless network before I had the chance to log in and open the
connection with my password. The 60 seconds or so was the time it took

I do remember the record size disks, but they weren't VCD's. VCD's are still
available and they are CD size. Those big disks were called laser disks over
here in the UK and didn't take off because they were SO expensive. Pretty
though.

The only really working workaround I found out to revive touchpad after

Wow - unacceptable, unprofessional?
Somehow I think relevant information regarding when, how and with what
equipment would be worth more than simply throwing stones. This *is*
open source, guys. The community helps improve itself by working together.

I removed kde4-core (remove followed by autoremove), then deleted both
