I can confirm problems with the ati driver in gutsy, namely the
xserver-xorg-video-ati 1:6.7.195-1ubuntu2, using a Radeon 7000 VE.
The log file without using a xorg.conf can be seen attached. Also in my case,
downgrading to xserver-xorg-video-ati_6.6.3-2ubuntu6_i386 solves the problem.

Printing works fine, expect some PDFs from http://www.mvv-muenchen.de, which
show a footpath to an adress (graphic). The failure only happens when i try to

I've had a similar problem: The site had a few elements with a 1x1 pixel
transparent background png and was not scrolling but jumping, continued
to scroll a bit (was "laggy") and the cpu load jumped up to 100%.
Changing the image size to 50x50 pixel fixed the problem.

Now that the but is fixed. How do I update my version of evolution? I
currently show that I have version 2.12.1 and the information above says
that the bug is fixed in 2.21.5. I have tried to use the Update manager
to see if the new version is available, and it has not said that it is?

Is this the famous "It's a feature, not a bug" write-off? I believe that
