I have tried to reproduce the error but i got another error with german
umlauts. It seems to not be possible to copy the output of the log
screen to the clipboard but i found the log file (html?). On the
standard output the following message where shown:

'dpkg --configure -a' fixed the package database temporarily.
Note: I had to get the NFS lock things run for the command above to succeed.
But I ran into problems with the package management system again today; I'll
