Just wanted to report that after installing the latest ati driver via envy and
setting the options suggested by jkyamog, 3D accelaration and suspend/resume
work perfectly on my toshiba laptop with Ati Radeon Xpress 200 M. Before

I just mailed Dave Jones, the kernel's cpu frequency driver maintainer.
As far as I can tell; Ubuntu doesn't actually start powernowd when the
ondemand governor is available. So TERM signals do not apply here.
Setting the governor to "performance" does, though. At the moment I'll
just use the "unn

driver at some time support rotation, and if so, is there any way to
roll back to that version?

It might happen because the applet launched nautilus without the "--no-
desktop" option to proceed file transferts, which causes xfdesktop to
lose the ability to draw the icons.

Having the same crash here using scorched3D, screen content still visible, no
distortion, hard lock, keyboard doesn't even work. I'm using Hardy with latest
intel driver, DRI is enabled, compiz enabled, using

Same problem with kubuntu gutsy since new maj of flashplayer.

I am having the same problem. Disk usage analyzer says:
Total filesystem capacity: 107.2 GB (used 84.8 GB, available 22.4 GB)
So far, so good. But, under "/" there is only 12 GB used, not 84.8 GB.
DUA does not tell me where/what the difference of 62.4 GB are.
