It seems to be the MySQL-update that brakes the chroot-environment that
PostFix runs with.
A work-a-round is to do:
ln /var/run/mysql/mysql.sock /var/spool/postfix/run/mysql/mysql.sock
But this has to be done every time there is a change to
/var/run/mysql/mysql.sock . This is a dangerous problem

I have this bug on Asus M2N32-Deluxe mainboard. MAC address is only reversed
when doing S3 sleep, S4 hibernation doesn't have this problem after resuming.
I've already tried updating to 2.6.24-2-generic kernel from Hardy and it did
not help.

Thanks for the patch. Couple of comments:
1. Can you explain the reason for removing the other options as well as
the one which is the subject of this bug report?
2. Please don't use xreflabels, they break translations and should be
avoided. If you see any others, please remove them.

no, it should not be marked as fixed. The problem occurs in hardy
current. Regardless of which levels iwconfig report, I don't get any
signal with iwl whereas ipw works perfectly (my AP is about 60 m away
through two walls, so it's quite weak).

Have you actually read the bugreport before adding thsi comment? It is
trivial to check if this issue is still present, as I pointed out
exactly what the problem was in my original report.
Anyway, I am no longer using any Ubuntu systems, so I really don't feel
like checking myself.
