There is not much that the xserver can do when you use a KVM that does
not support DDC queries. Questions about the resolution etc. are not

Tony: it just means that the bug is in mesa. Nvidia has it's own libGL.
It also seems that the issue happens only when there is no DRI (vesa,

You can disable a wireless network using this command (replace
by the essid you don't want to connect to):
gconftool-2 --recursive-unset
/system/networking/wireless/networks/
With this, network manager won't try to connect to it unless you tell it to do
so.
It works fine for me though it is not
A similar bug is still present in Gutsy.
Every app that use xine-lib cannot play streams encoded with cook.
