Confirmed on Hardy too. Its affected me for all of the time I've had
this dell laptop (which is supposedly designed for Ubuntu). I've had to
switch back to the i810 driver to get around this, which means my
touchpad scroll bars don't work :(

The last stacktrace posted was running ubuntu 8.04 (hardy) alpha
version. i'm alternating between gnome and kde4 right now. the bug

I can reproduce this fairly reliably.
1. Start Epiphany.
2. Maximize the window.
3. Close the window.
4. Start Epiphany again. It should be maximized.
5. Double-click title bar. This should restore the previous window size, which
it does, but the window immediately springs to full screen size.
