Incidentally, I installed jackd in the hope that those annoying error
messages should go away, but now instead it prints "JACK tmpdir
identified as [/dev/shm]" on the console for every file it plays.

Hi Liu Qishuai, My ubuntu7.10 is up to date but still has problem, the
only package I didn't upgrade is libcairo2 which cause problem. Do you
mean I need manually upgrade wqy package (not via apt-get? )

The upgrade of linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22-14-generic from .37 to .38
just makes my all gnome applications crash, the machine cannot restart
properly. I have to push the power button to shut it down.

able to install fine but it isn't clear to me what filesystem you had
chosen when the installer failed. What filesystem did you originally

I am using wengophone version 2.1.2.dfsg0-2 on Hardy daily-live 20071211, amd64.
When I start wengophone and use it a while, for exampe doing two or three test
