The 32 and 64 bit DO have different versions of HPLIP. 32 has 2.7.10,
and 64 has 2.7.7. I downloaded and installed the latest version for the

I think D2 is an Universal Mass Storage device (UMS for short).
It does have an MTP mode too if you need it.
Having said that the UMS mode is probably clashing with the MTP mode.
You might have to do some foo to disable the ums if you want mtp.
Same thing happens with sansa devices.

I don't see how the server could use logrotate, since the logfile is not
like the rest of the system logs; it should be kept as a single logfile
per session.
however, the server could save more than one backup. Patches are welcome
:)
