Yes, I upgraded from Feisty.
With synaptic I can see, on package properties, that the available
updated package has version 0.7.2-1~feisty1 and it comes from feisty-
backports repository. It's odd, I should not have feisty repositories.

Kubuntu 7.10, ATI Radeon 9550 with driver 8.40.4. Desktop effects are
not enabled. "Change user" hangs the X server: only alt+sysreq+ r, s, e,
i, u, b are still available.

The 'dynamic' option didn't work for me.
Appears not to manage lack of DNS.
It is the lack of a valid DNS that causes NTP to fail
And NTP isn't yet designed to cope with DNS changes/missing DNS.
Apparently there has been some discussion of making DNS queries dynamic on one
of the mailing lis

I disagree, I compiled 2.6.24-rc3 twice, and it still hangs up where it
used to (restricted modules). I have a dv611?us turion X2. Also, take
into account that if you compile your own kernel you will lose a lot of
support from your distro, I have no sound, no wifi, and had to install
the nvidia dri

Indeed, simply rebuilding the aumix package from the gutsy source
package fixed the error here too. Too bad a bug like this still isn't
fixed after some 2 months, especially having been reported well before
7.10 release date.

I have checked it. I have the language packages for KDE installed. Not
for GNOME. How should I know that? I thought that if gimp (or any other
program for that sake) depends on something special, as a special
language pack, it is supported.

while this bug isn;t fixed?
How can I go back to vmware-player-kernel-modules-2.6.15-28? I think
that might be a workaround, but I don't know how to do that

/usr/share/gosa/includes/functions.inc requires smarty at
'smarty/lib/Smarty.class.php' while it actually exists at just
'smarty/Smarty.class.php'.
