People are using Xgl because the upgrade to Gutsy makes them use XGL by
default (at least, it did for me). I assume this is because Ubuntu (with

I tired a lot of things, like reloading the files from add and remove

The work-around that punong_bisyonaryo posted works for me. Just remove
the modules gspca and zc0301 and reload gspca, then the webcam can work

Sometime can be useful install ubuntu on a computer and the bootloader
in a usbpen or a floppy , there isn't an easy way to choose where to
install the bootloader.

Same problem seems to be still present in the final Gutsy (2.6.22-14)
but it depends on the laptop model - it also locks on my X300 but I have
seen it working OK on other models.

I seems the fix has not backported to 3.5.8 or the fix is incomplete.
The attached .ics file is imported with the meeting of by 8hours. With
local time zone set to Berlin (GTM+1), the appointment should be a 8AM,
but it is at 4PM.
Tested with Kubuntu/Gutsy 7.10

Sorry. Administrator's rights doesn't imply that the user titi is a
member of the lpadmin group. Adding titi to the lpadmin group makes
everything work. Perhaps a tip : add an info in the GUI ?
