Seems it is caused by a symbolic link for /usr/bin/python.

acceleration works but Desktop effects -> Appearance display the message
"Composite extensions not available". The gutsy is RC and the kernel is

I just dragged and dropped the theme's archive file on the Appearance
Preferences window.
My problem is solved now but still, there should be some way for the average

In the Gutsy RC, the migration assistant shows a confusing dialog when
it fails to unmount /mnt/migrationassistant. The problem is the buttons.
It asks whether the user wants m-a to try the unmount again. The buttons
are "Go Back" and

packages - kdepimlibs5 and kde4base, so we get this error when trying to

If I switch back to windowed mode and resize the window, it seems to
"reset" the behaviour, allowing me to switch back and forth between the
tabs of different profiles without jumping to full-screen automatically.
It reappears again, however, as soon as I switch either tab to full
screen.
