I did a recent upgrade (102 packeges) and now my Laptop fails to make it
into sleep. The light starts flashing, USB peripherals are disconnected
and then nothing else happens, except that the light indicating going
into sleep continues to flash.

Another note: since this new at76c503a driver version 0.17 works great
with Gutsy, I've just compiled and installed it on my Feisty system with
the same result: the WiFi adapter is perfectly detected and configured
by KNetworkManager and there was no crash so far.

When the bookmarksftp extension is enabled and a bookmark is added to
the 'Bookmarks Toolbar Folder', that bookmark does not appear in the
toolbar until Firefox is restarted. When the extension is not enabled,
no restart is required.
Could you post your crashing xorg.conf? Maybe it crashes because of
Xinerama which isn't supported through the new Intel driver anymore.

maitrechang: You are right. The "with-plugindir" option is present in
alsa-lib-1.0.14 (gutsy) and not in alsa-lib-1.0.13 (feisty).
So this patch applies only to gutsy.

grapics card, the computer freezes on startup when loading X (before GDM

Every time I boot up with usplash on (at least I think it's on because I
get a blank screen), it takes roughly 2m50s. Pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 at any
time during boot jumps to text being shown of the boot process, and
letting the booting continue immediately.
