I encounter this on Gutsy when trying to open an ODT Template (.ott)
over an ssh:// share. Normal .odt files work fine, and if I copy the

Sorry I haven't replied in so long. I now have plenty of time to help
with this however.
Anyway, that does not help. I still get absolutely no video output
whatsoever (with no sign of X starting up.) Hitting ctrl+alt+del twice
does not help, even after hitting ctrl+alt+f1. Also, the hard disk stop
Option "LVDSBiosNativeMode" "FALSE" does work for me, but this seems
likely to pose a problem for new installs unaware of the bug. Would it
be possible to get some sort of autodetection based on lspci?

My Belkin rt73 usb stick worked fine (out of the box) for a good while

It may not be related, but we were having speed issues with tracker in
some computers here, and it was fixed after adding the relatime mount
option to ext3 indexed partitions.

If sound stops working after suspend-to-ram or suspend-to-disk, try the
workaround specified at
http://linux.dell.com/wiki/index.php/Ubuntu_7.04/Issues/Audio_not_working_properly.
This works on Gutsy. Only thing about it is that upon resuming, you may
get a pop-up window about Volume Control quitti

In fact now 3.0.RC1 (http://www.squid-

It sure would be nice to get the newest release in Gutsy. A backport to
Feisty would also be nice.
