Hi All,
I got this bug today , out of the blue, after moving a mail from the
Inbox to another folder using drag and drop. I closed Evo and reopened,
I no longer get the error! Judging from the above comments it seems to
be pretty hit and miss.
On this machine i'm on 7.04 of Ubuntu.

I don't know why Gutsy insisted in forcing the Vesa driver instead of
the neomagic...
Changing it on my /etc/X11/xorg.conf it worked better... at least the
color is no longer purple.

I have been playing with this and have determined the following
(rebooting/hard-powering-off in between tests):
Three times I tested suspending with the Intel driver. It seems to
resume correctly and then reaches the password prompt to unlock the
screen. I enter my password, press enter and it fre

ubiquity and get a working system.

Hmm, I repeated these steps now 15 times in a row. No crash.
Before the yesterday's update I was able to crash the computer simply by
1. go to a terminal and type: xrandr --output VGA --off
2. switch VT1
this worked nearly every time. But now again: no crash anymore. Either

What JDK do you use to run NetBeans? (Go to
$HOME/.netbeans/5.5.1/var/log, there is message.log, if it is big send

On EXA versus XAA for my configuration:
In Gutsy:
It seems that on my system EXA tends to refresh the screen in large lag blocks.
XAA seems much more smooth and the OS seems more usable.
In Feisty:
EXA seemed significantly faster than XAA and tended to tax the CPU less.

When installing Ubuntu from a USB CDROM drive (common on small laptops),
the drive is given a line in /etc/fstab. After installation, the drive
is removed. The same device number is then subsequently assigned to the
