In the System -> Preferences and System -> Administration menus, there's
no need to repeat terms as 'options', 'preferences', 'manager', etc. for
each config tool. For consistency with most GNOME tools, we should only
use as label the part
I quietly fixed that typo this morning. The fix had been hanging around
in my local copy for a few days.
If you like, you can create a diff for one bug, use the 'svn revert
path/to/file.xml' command, fix the other issue, create a diff for that
and then attach each to their respective bug reports.

Yeah, that's why I reported it initially as a gnome bug, because I thought, it
might be a problem of the gnome-wide proxy settings as both apt and evolution
don't work with the socks-proxy.

After several attempts, i could finally install ubuntu. after the
install hanged at deifferent times, I had to disable CPU scalling (cool
n' quiet / powernow) and set relax memory timings in order to install
the system without problem.

I did restart the dbus service and voila - the applet shows it has a
connection. So I then switched to roaming mode and it gets a connection, too.

I have the same problem with tilda going blank after the having hid it
with the hot key and then trying to bring it back with the hot key. As

"ctrl+i" will also correctly trigger the "goto line" action.

Running compiz fusion and Google Earth at the same time caused my
computer to first freeze and then log off from Ubuntu Gutsy (Beta). My
graphics card is an ATI 9600 with 128 MB RAM. That might be the reason
already but I thought I might send in a areport anyway.

Hello,
I'm having the same problem on my Gutsy Athlon 64 machine. When it goes
to sleep from inactivity, the screen won't come back. The power light
remains steady and I can open and close the CD /DVD drive and the
optical mouse remains lit, but I cannot get the screen back. I am
attaching copies

Well, acpi-support 0.103 still does (in power.sh):
$HDPARM -B 1 /dev/$drive 2>/dev/null
when laptop mode is enabled. This is sure to trigger the problem, so I
don't think it's fixed.

My problem with quality is due to evince, not printing. I think this bug

The problem was with an earlier update that did not install correctly. It was
sun java. Once that was removed and installed correctly everything is working
fine. Thanks for the quick response.

In Galeon, when I try to drag a bookmark from the drop down menu to the
toolbar, it freezes, and I cannot exit. I have to restart my session.
The mouse/drag icon freezes in place.
I am using Ubuntu Feisty Fawn, and Galeon 2.0.2.

showing Compiz-Fusion to them. It is so cool!
After disabling "Desktop Effects" I see normal windows in any configuration and

I have the problem with the fixed rate of 24MBits/s too.
Why can`t we get rates higher than that?
If I get from the same machine from windows it reaches the full speed of
54MBits/s.
