I have a usb disk with 2 partitions.
One is FAT32 and one is NTFS
They correctly get mounted when I plug the usb but
when I try to unmount one of them it is re-mounted automatically.
So there is no "safe" way to unplug the device unless I shut down.

I can still reproduce this bug while running Compiz on Gutsy x86_64 with
the nvidia-glx-new package. Switch to VT1, back to VT7, and I get a
black screen with only a mouse pointer.
I think this is a _very_ big problem, because as Matthew Vermeulen
stated, the FUSA applet is enabled by default, and
I've since had the X repeated restarts at least twice (X either restarts
itself or hangs so I try to restart it, then restarts over and over
again, requiring an Alt-SysRq-euib system restart), at least one with
Firefox not open (though Thunderbird was).

Adding another file causing OOo writer to crash (Ubuntu). No matter of
hurry, just another file to be analysed. I've opened the file (from
somebody else) in Word and re-saved as Word 6.0 (before it was just
"Word"). It blew up from 1.6 to 5.0 MB, but was fully readable in OOo.

I forgot to mention that I my issues with suspend on the Inspiron 6000
occur while using both the 8.37and 8.41 fglrx drivers on a Radeon
Mobility X300 card.
If, however, I use the non-proprietary driver, suspend works flawlessly
(so far - I have only tried it a few times).

Gutsy Beta (with the Firefox that comes with it) uses the US
spellchecker. Typing words like centre into a text box like this one
causes them to be underlined. If I right-click and look at languages,
En_US is checked. Obviously, changing the language to En_GB fixes the
issue.

I don't know that spatial mode means.. I click on Places->Pictures and
try to make a search it won't work. It makes the search in the wrong
place and finds random files like I've explained it above.

Pushing backspace deletes links in places and navigates to top folder. Often i
don't recognize the focus and delete the references. Its more an annoyance, but
why exists a short cut for delete the links?

I also think there is something fishy going on with the language
extensions to Firefox supplied by Ubuntu. After installing Turkish and
Bulgarian language support, I can no longer install any add-ons from the
mozilla site. The extension manager simply refuses to install them. Very
frustrating...

There is no language/locale pack for NZ, as far as I can see. My system
has the en-gb locale installed by default (which probably explains why
the spellcheck is available in the right-click list) but the spellcheck
language defaults to US.
